US ARGUS:

Irish channels before it's capture by the H.M.S. Pelican on 14th August 1813
HMS ARGUS:
Sloop. Was on Patrol in in Sicilian waters in 1860. Under Captain Moresby she
took part in a joint action with the Japanese Goverment during the winter of
1863-64 against Chosiu, a powerful Daimyo who prevented access to the inland
Sea through the straits of Shimonoseki Passage. She was commanded by Fredrick
William Hallows between 1867 and 1870.
HMS ARGUS:
Fourth
British Aircraft Carrier To Be Launched. Launched on the 2nd of December 1917
the ship was completed in 1918. The H.M.S. Argus was the first ship to provide
a safe carrier on which airplanes could alight on and fly off safely and was
the world's first true through-deck aircraft carrier, thus being the prototype
for all later carriers.
ARGUS: PY-14
Patrol yaught built in 1929 at Kiel in Germany and converted at Long Beach,
California. Commissioned on 13th Febuary 1941 under Lt. Commander Harold H.

Johnson, which had been torpedoed and sunk by the Japanese submarine 1-12 on

HMS/RFA ARGUS: A135
The
R.F.A. Argus was a Royal Fleet Auxiliary Aviation Training ship which served
in the British navy in the Gulf War of the early 1990's when it was converted
to a hospital ship. Still in service in 1998 after the eugenics war.
BRS ARGUS: NAR-24
Mystery surounds the BRS Argus. Listed in the International Space Registry, there is little other evidence that it existed. It is the only ship with the BRS registry prefix (standing for British Republican Starship) owing to the fact that it was registered during the period the Optimum Republic of Great Britain existed and had disappeared by the time the monarchy was restored in 2080.
